We provide expert guidance for planning, financing, and implementing renewable energy projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and sustainability.
From feasibility studies to construction and maintenance, we deliver complete agrivoltaic and solar energy solutions.
We integrate solar power with smart irrigation and modern farming techniques to increase crop yields and energy output.
SUNtecs agri-solar systems enable the dual use of agricultural land, producing both food and renewable energy on the same site.
This avoids the loss of valuable farmland and supports sustainable rural development. Vegetables and herbs thrive beneath special glas glas solar panels, shaded from excessive heat and protected from increasingly intense rainfall caused by climate change.
Thanks to precision drip irrigation, we use water with maximum efficiency, ensuring crops flourish while conserving this valuable resource. Our approach enables simultaneous energy and food production, strengthening local resilience, enhancing food security, and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
This integrated solution supports communities today while building a more climate-friendly and sustainable tomorrow. By generating energy close to where it's consumed, our systems stabilize the local power grid and allow for value-added processing of agricultural products.
This creates new jobs, boosts local income, and strengthens climate resilience without compromising food production.

Suntec Togo SARL acts as investor and operator of Agri-PV plants in Togo and is specialized in financing and project development of small-scale and challenging renewable energy projects in emerging West African markets.
The current pipeline of grid-connected Agri-PV plants in Togo includes the construction and operation of several solar plants with a total capacity of 10 MWp. SUNtec-Togo Sarl (“Project Company”), in partnership with APRODAT (Agency for the Promotion and Development of Agropoles), has built solar plants as part of the Togolese National Development Plan (PNP).
Since 2023, Suntec has been implementing an innovative agri-solar program that combines photovoltaic power plants with smart agriculture through a dual land-use approach. This model enables clean energy production while sustaining agricultural activity, creating a synergy between energy transition and food security.

Empowerment of rural communities through access to electricity and support for local agricultural production
SDG 1 – No Poverty
SUNtec creates local jobs in farming, energy, and processing, increases farmer incomes through reduced losses and added value, and provides stable income opportunities in rural communities.
SDG 2 – Zero Hunger
The model enables climate-smart agriculture under solar roofs, can reduces post-harvest losses by 30–40%, and improves local food security and nutrition.
SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy
Each MW of Agri-Solar provides clean, reliable and affordable electricity, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth
SUNtec generates direct, indirect, and informal jobs, ensures fair working conditions, and strengthens local economies through new value chains.
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
By integrating energy, agriculture, and processing into one system, SUNtec introduces a breakthrough industrial model that builds sustainable infrastructure in rural areas.
SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities
Agri-Solar strengthens rural communities by providing energy, food, and processing locally, reducing urban migration and building resilient, sustainable communities.
SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
Through cold storage, processing, and biomass recycling, SUNtec minimizes food waste, reduces chemical inputs, and promotes circular resource use.
SDG 13 – Climate Action
Each MW avoids ~1,200 tons of CO₂ annually, uses irrigation efficiently, and helps farmers adapt to extreme heat and rainfall.
SDG 15 – Life on Land
SUNtec protects soils from erosion and degradation, recycles biomass into organic fertilizer, and promotes sustainable land use without expanding agricultural land into natural ecosystems.
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
SUNtec collaborates with government Agencies APRODAT, ministries, NGO for education, atmosfair Gumbo for finance and local communities, making partnerships central to its success.
Suntec Togo SARL operates as an investor and operator of Agri-PV (agricultural photovoltaic) plants in Togo. The company specializes in financing and developing small-scale and challenging renewable energy projects in emerging West African markets.
Launched in 2023, the Agri-Solar program combines photovoltaic power generation with smart agricultural practices using a dual land-use model. This innovative system supports clean energy production while sustaining agricultural activity—linking energy transition with food security.
The company has successfully developed four Agri-PV sites across various regions in Togo:
- Kpessi – 1 MWp (Plateaux Region)
- Dalavé – 2 MWp (Maritime Region)
- Adjegan – 1 MWp (Lacs Prefecture)
- Badougbé – 2 MWp (Lacs Prefecture)
Together, these projects amount to a total installed capacity of 6 MWp, with an estimated annual production of approximately 11,000 MWh, enough to power over 9,000 Togolese households.
Moreover, they help reduce CO₂ emissions by roughly 7,000 tons per year and utilize over 12 hectares of integrated agricultural land for crops like maize, soybeans, vegetables, and tomatoes.
Suntec Togo stands out by delivering several compelling advantages:
- Comprehensive Support: The company supports clients throughout the entire project lifecycle—from planning to permits and paperwork.
- Long-Term Reliability: They offer an impressive 25-year warranty on solar panels, ensuring long-term peace of mind.
- Cost Savings: By switching to solar energy, clients benefit from reduced energy bills, as the source—sunlight—is free.
- Installation Included: Suntec Togo includes installation with the service, which may also increase property value.
